The MR3 Network is an NIH-supported resource for the research community. It strengthens rehabilitation research by developing the infrastructure that supports the field—central to the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD)’s mission. It connects investigators to expert guidance, training, technologies, and cross-disciplinary collaborations spanning neuroscience, engineering, behavioral science, and social science.
The network is supported by several organizations within the NIH, including:
- National Center for Medical Rehabilitation Research (NCMRR)
- National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD)
- National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS)
- National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB)
- National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD)
- National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH)
- National Institute for Nursing Research (NINR)
